On August 8, the Foshan Institute of Industrial Technology of Guangdong Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Foshan Research Institute") settled in Foshan, adding another place for receiving international innovation resources.
Enhancing the ability of innovation and building a high-end industry chain
Svet-lana Babitskaya, director of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of Belarus’s National Academy of Sciences said that in addition to the basic and applied research on chemistry, structure and function of biopolymers and low-molecular weight biological regulators, the Institute has also carried out the production and technical development of plant growth promoters and plant protective agents. In the future, the two sides can cooperate in the fields of creating different green landscapes in cities.
Wu Qingping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering delivered a keynote speech to interpret the trends and the latest technologies in their respective research fields. Wu Qingping stated that Foshan is a relatively high-end manufacturing base, and for further upgrading, Foshan must work hard on systematic innovation to build a high-end industrial chain.
Infinite possibilities for the cooperation between Foshan and the research institute
At the "Bio-agriculture and Resource Environment" and "New Materials and Equipment Manufacturing" forums, the heads of the 13 institutes of Guangdong Academy of Sciences and the heads of the 12 institutes from the Belarus’ National Academy of Sciences exchanged ideas and stated co-operation intention. A number of research institutes of Guangdong Academy of Sciences also analyzed the cooperation possibilities with Foshan.
In the future, the Institute will deploy innovation chain based on the industrial chain, and strengthen the introduction and secondary development of international advanced technology. At the same time, Foshan will perfect the capital chain and set up the incubator technological product transformation fund to attract capital.
